Je Rule

All of my closest friends know that don't like to shop, I don't go to clubs, and I barely eat at hotels for buffet. Those Fiamma, 7th High and Rebupliq annoys me. What I'd rather do is hang out at a friend's house and drink (and dance), watch a movie, eat ice cream, read a book, or go to bar and restos like 19 East. I'm not the A-type even though I came from an A-school. I don't just get the fuss out of it. I always want to be practical in life unless there's an invitation but I always wanna relax. Moreover, I'm really lazy.
Here's an example: If I have to go clubbing, I'd buy a dress put make-up... Gah. It's too expensive! Hahaha well anyway. How about I'd tell you what I do (a little bit of shopping and eating) I'll arrange this from least to best.

One of my favorite shops since high school. I shop here for undies! Hihi. That's it! But when I shop here, it's one time big time. Topshop's undies are so comfortable. I also buy tank tops too! If quality is what you're looking for, this is one of the shops you'd stop for. It's really affordable. Prices are very reasonable. (Unlike Zara, for me their just the same. Zara's overrated) Or let's just say, I'm loyal. Haha

Duh, there's no VS here in Manila. What my sister and I do is that we buy from abroad (we don't go there just to buy) but my sister's friend's aunt goes back and forth. Bikinis and undies, are so perfect. One-of-a-kind designs. It could fit whatever body structure you have. Stoked, well you can find it Glorietta, Trinoma, GH, MOA etc. If it's board shorts and slippers that I want, this store is a no-brainer for me. Unlike yes, you'd want to buy Billabong, Roxy or Ripcurl in Rustan's but Stoked is more of an outlet so it's cheaper!

Yes, this is the most important store for me. Since I'm more fond of vintage styles whether shoes, bags or shirts, I'd rush here. Cheap and fun. (ooh and the photo I got has sale on it. Whuuut)

Best ever Chinese restaurant! Yang Chow and noodles are served for at least 2 persons and you just get a total of P850 or less! I'm hungry. :(

Nothing to counter that since I couldn't think of any Chinese resto cheaper than this.

Bjie and I love to eat here. You'll love their fish fillet and the amazing dip! Their pasta and pizza are delicious enough but a price for the buffet of P290 is more delicious.

No buffet to counter that. If you want to talk about Vikings and Yakimix, well they're more expensive.

Too tired of Starbucks since it has been all around town? Well, thanks to Taft of having a franchise of this at UM. This is where we usually hang out during college (and some of my friends until now) while waiting for the next class. Memories enclosed but it may cost heavier than Starbucks but if you want a different taste of frappe, especially White Chocolate Dream oh lala...

Maxwell coffee! (Oops, to counter that) My mom makes the best Maxwell coffee and cream ever though... No need for the photo of the brand, it will just take the whole space for the best next one to anyone who has ever lived or tried BF...

Has anyone tried the Shawarma in Cuenca? Well, it's also one of the best Shawarma's I've tasted (but please let's not debate about the Christmas Cuenca Bazaar, please don't. That one is unforgivable! Woot!) Ruins has always been the "Kung may kailangan ka kahit pagkain, t-shirt or tsinelas na cheapangga" just don't buy bags, branded but ja-feyks! And whenever I'm in Ruins, this Shawarma is all lined-up.

NUFF SAID.

Nah, I'm just kidding. Actually ever since high school also we'd love to hang out here. Different friends from BF, even my sister's friends. Unlike Central (too crowdy, overrated) it's more relaxed here. The people and the place, perfecto!

One heavenly place to counter that is my home.

Last but not the least...

TA-DA! Heaven is a place on earth... Books, keychains, notebooks = all the pretty ones! You could also find here 'for the gifts' where they have personalized figurines, pens etc. Well, I would counter this with Papelmeroti but you won't find rings or necklaces (or even great books) there. Reasonable prices! You could even survey laptop stickers here! Goodbye Powerbooks and of course, National Bookstore. If it's buying set of books like Fifty Shades of Game of Thrones, the sets here are always sold out.

The Unje Rule

1. If you want to look cool with what you wear, you could buy in expensive stores as long as the quality is at its finest and it's unique.
2. If you want to look cool (the desperate amount that you would check in in Foursquare of Facebook) with what you eat, as long as it's the last restaurant on earth (like pretending it's your last pigging day) be sure that it's not pricey and the meal isn't served like a spaghetti in Greenwich that you could eat it with two pigging table spoons.
3. If you want to have coffee, go to Coffee Bean.
4. If you want to buy books, keychains or all of it in one, just be sure that you could budget it well. Rather, don't buy and just go to Republiq. At least you have saved some to parteeeh!
5. It's better if you go to bazaars and stop social climbing.

Recapcom

5 months, yes 5 months!

If you would just observe my last post... I'll admit of course I've really been busy with...

Yes! I've graduated already! (this is totally a recap haha) thank you De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde! Moreover, thank you to my professors, blockmates, classmates, schoolmates and college friends! And speaking of friends, here's what I've been busy doing with them... :)

My bestest friend. My special friend. And any other kinds of connotations for a friend, the love of my life Bjie :"> Yes, we just turned 10 months yesterday! Time does fly by so fast. It was just a year ago that I was hoping to have a chance with him and a year after, I'm still taking my chances to be his ever after. The most special feeling is that nothing ever changed within 10 months. Everything is still the same. The way we talk, text and make each other swoon... Gaah, I'm so lucky. Best and only real relationship I've ever had. I love him so much.

College friends? Priceless. We had a post-graduation dinner at Bubba Gump in Greenbelt 5.

What I do? I train. Yes, I take the train. Hahaha. Well yeah I take the train going to our sales office in Gilmore but sorry, there. I train real estate consultants. It's really fun. I remember the option of taking Recruitment or Training? I won't think twice now. It's a no-brainer. I'm really enjoying my job! Woot woot!
And my colleagues and bosses are so easy to be with! I really feel comfortable. In addition, the department that I belong to is the best ever. Even the bosses are cool!

Butterscotch and Ice

I saw my friend tweet about the song Sleeps With Butterflies by Tori Amos. 3 days after, I realized that it fitted Cheekee's death. She was 8years old, a Labrador. One of the kindest pets I've ever had. She was given to us by tita Jeanie the year of 2007. And what I love about her is that when I was taking pictures with her, she didn't avoid any shot. Lost some of the photos since it was taken by my old camera back in 2009.

On that day, I had an interview at 1pm in Makati. I was supposed to leave the house at 1030am (considering #itsmorefuninthePhilippines traffic). I didn't know why I was dressing up a long time, fixing my things etc. When my mom was shouting and crying Cheekee, I knew it. Maybe Cheekee wanted me to see her rest. It was the first time I had to courage to look at our dead pet.

We just saw her one day full of blood coming from her nose. The next day, she was very weak already, and wasn't in the mood to eat. It was really painful for me. Imagine me going home and not seeing her licking my face, jumping on me showing that she's excited to see me back home.

I guess, she's back home now... I hope to see her again
one day.

I want you to listen to the song.

She died 1045am on the 27th of January 2012.
I'm gonna miss her so much. :'( It still hurts :'(

P.S. Check my tweet above. Check the date.

Bjie and I had dinner at Chinoy King yesterday at Rob. I loved it because it was unlimited Yang Chow! Of course I ordered sweet & sour pork! Hihi. Now I have a new favorite! (well of course I wouldn't change North Park for anything) but if you're looking for a cheap Chinese resto, this one's for you.
I love it when I'm with him. Never a dull moment. <3

Pssh. I can't wait for the 8th episode of Walking Dead, Season 2. Luckily, it's the same excitement for graduation since the days are consecutive. Damn you Sophia!
Lesson learned: Always listen to instructions. Lol

Bombarded tweets this morning about Showtime leaving. Honestly, jologs kung jologs but I tweeted Vice and Anne telling them how weird it was since th
ey never gave any heads-up that the show is ending. NOW I GET IT! Since Happy Yipee Yehey's last episode is on the 4th of Feb (hi graduation practice), E-live's last episode is tomorrow, Magunaw Man ang Mundo is at 1130am on Monday, Kapamilya Blockbuster is after Kris TV, and Carmina Villaroel & Janice de Belen has a new program... I am assuming that Showtime MIGHT change hosts, staff and name then Carmina & Janice's show will be on E-live's time slot and goodbye Happy Yipee Yehey is the dra-muh! Hay nako ABS, just be sure Vice, Anne, Vhong, Jugs<3Teddy, and Billy will still be there (but wait isn't Billy going to Europe?) ah basta, to make it short... Be sure that Karylle won't be there! I'm not a fan I'm sorry.

Downloading it right now. It's thesis' fault on why haven't I continued Modern Family!!!! Bummer. I'm a loser.

I do get serious sometimes, k? Yes, I'm really into politics. I love the drama (HAHA) been watching this. Enrile is doing a great job. He takes both sides equally. My view is the prosecution is losing breath here. They should have strong evidence and confident witnesses. The first and last confident witness for me was Kim-Jacinto Henares. I see myself in her when she answers. I love her sarcasm!

Yup, been taking food during my interviews. Thank you Goldilocks! I love your brownies! :D

When Bjie and I were at SM Southmall, I wanted to look at Papelmeroti if they had planners. I was disappointed since their planners were small. I was looking for a bigger one, like the Belle de jour planner. Anyway, I saw these section of frames and it reminded me of my closest friends! Hehe. If I get to work already, I really promise myself that I'll be giving them (with my choice of photo of course bwahaha) Lawyer for kuya Juinor, Architect for Mac, Teacher for Red and Engineer for Ojna! Too bad there wasn't a bartender or chef frame for Rap. Haha, see I have all the kinds of friends!

Get to see the products of my friend Christine! Please like her in Facebook: Christine Angela
Please support her! Thank you!

Hey you! Some awareness for you!

Stop littering the ocean! Wait, will get some sushi...
